Andrew R. Burns, CCIM, CPM
Andrew R. Burns currently serves as the President of Burns Properties. Burns assumed the role as President of the company on January 1, 2006 after serving as its Vice President from 1992 until the time of appointment. Burns is one of three siblings raised in Beaumont, Texas and is a 1990 graduate of Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Following graduation from Lamar, Burns continued his education in the real estate curriculum, completing post baccalaureate level courses through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and The Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CCIM Institute). Burns completed the IREM curriculum in 1996 and the CCIM Institute curriculum in 1997, achieving their professional designations. Burns remains committed to his community, has served on various professional and civic boards, including serving as a State Director of The Texas Apartment Association. Burns is a former board member and Past President of the Apartment Association of Southeast Texas, a former Board Member and Vice Chairman of the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Texas and a former Board Member of the American Red Cross-Beaumont Chapter. Burns is a current member of the Rotary Club of Beaumont. |
